Diversity & Inclusion
Multicultural Student Support
Whether you're from a historically underrepresented community or broadening your cross-cultural understanding, our four centers – Multicultural Student Center, LGBTQ Center, Latinx Student Center, and Interfaith Student Center – can help you find your voice.
Veterans and Military Student Support
The Veteran Student Center was created in 2021 as an on-Grounds meeting point for veteran and military-affiliated students. Here, you can build community and learn to leverage your unique experiences and perspectives during your time at UVA.
Student Disability Resources
Every student deserves to access all that UVA has to offer. If you've been diagnosed with a disability OR if you haven't been diagnosed but are struggling academically, the Student Disability Access Center can help you secure the accommodations you need.
First-Generation & Limited Income Student Initiatives
With an emphasis on community and mentorship, Hoos First: FGLI Student Initiatives helps first-generation and limited-income students feel at home at UVA.
African-American Student Programs and Support
Your "home away from home" awaits on Dawson's Row! At the Office of African-American Affairs, you'll find social support, academic resources, and a team championing change on your behalf.
Food Insecurity
Many UVA students find themselves having to choose between affording tuition and daily essentials. If this is your experience, we're here to help. Get the healthy food and hygiene products you need, anonymously and free of charge, at food pantries on and off Grounds.
LGBTQ+ Student Support
Questioning, coming out, queer, or an ally? The LGBTQ Center is the place for you. We are a welcoming, safe space with services and programs that raise awareness of sexual and gender diversities at UVA.

The Asian American Student Center (AASC) seeks to educate, engage, empower, and amplify the Asian American community through active participation, dialogue, and community-building. The center provides programs, services, and resources for students who identify as Asian/Asian American and educational opportunities for the entire campus.
Interfaith Student Center

Welcome, students of all faith backgrounds! We provide a safe place to practice your beliefs while learning about those of others. Our goal is to encourage interfaith dialogue and relationships between the many vibrant religious communities on Grounds.
