Well-being Services
Well-being Services at Student Health and Wellness, works in collaboration with the Teaching Kitchen, Art Room, and Functional Exercise teams, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote student success, personal health advocacy, and overall wellness. This collaborative approach empowers students to develop personalized well-being strategies through programs like WahooWell Coaching, which helps them navigate daily challenges and prioritize their health.

Medical Services
All UVA students who pay mandatory fees with their tuition are eligible for no-cost visits with Medical Services providers at Student Health and Wellness. Services range from troubleshooting students with tick bites to administering IV fluids the majority of our visits consist of common concerns like general health concerns, reproductive health services, preventive care screenings, and wellness and lifestyle support.

Health and Wellness Events
Check out upcoming events hosted by Student Health and Wellness. Events include cooking classes in the Teaching Kitchen; special workshops, presentations, and speaker series; therapy dog breaks; trainings; and more.

Mental Health Services
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Student Health and Wellness is the primary student mental health clinic on Grounds. CAPS is committed to providing a safe and affirming environment for all students seeking to improve their mental and emotional well-being. In addition to direct care, CAPS provides consultation and referral services.

Care and Support Services
Care and Support Services (CASS) at Student Health and Wellness is a non-clinical resource available to help students build their support networks to effectively navigate a wide variety of experiences and challenges. CASS offers a variety of services and initiatives intended to create an environment that promotes student success and holistic well-being.

Disability Services
To ensure full participation in campus life for every student, Student Disability Access Center at Student Health and Wellness provides academic accommodations, support services, and advocacy throughout the UVA community.
Multipurpose wellness spaces are located across Grounds to support students. The wellness spaces are designed to promote calm and focus and to accommodate meditation, quiet reflection, personal or group prayer, and overall wellbeing.
