Just Report It is UVA's online reporting system for situations including, but not limited to: hazing, harassment, bias and discrimination, and threats or acts of violence.

Threat Assessment

The violence prevention committee has developed policies and procedures for the prevention of violence on Grounds, including assessment of and intervention with individuals whose behavior poses a threat to the safety of the University community.

TimelyCare offers UVA students 24/7 virtual, wraparound mental health care at no cost*, including: TalkNow on-demand access to a mental health professional; scheduled counseling visits; psychiatry; group sessions; self-care journeys; and peer-to-peer support.

In an emergency or life-threatening situation, please call 911.

  • For after-hours urgent medical concern, care providers are on call at (434) 297-4261.
  • For after-hours mental health concern, CAPS providers are available at (434) 243-5150.
  • Don't have a medical or mental health concern, but need to speak to someone about an urgent matter after hours? Care and Support Services (CASS) provides 24-hour crisis management and incident response to all students via the CASS on Call program.

CASS offers a variety of services and initiatives intended to create an environment that promotes student success and holistic well-being.
