The intervention and prevention resources outlined on this page were developed in direct response to real-life situations observed and reported by students like you. We're here, 24 hours a day, to help you through any situation that makes you feel uneasy, uncomfortable, or unsafe.

Food Insecurity

Many UVA students find themselves having to choose between affording tuition and daily essentials. If this is your experience, we're here to help. Get the healthy food and hygiene products you need, anonymously and free of charge, at food pantries on and off Grounds.

Counseling and Therapy

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides mental health support to students through individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric services, drop-in consults, emergency services, and via TimelyCare virtual mental health services.
