Flyering Policy

Posting Policy

1. Eligibility
   Student organizations - Contracted Independent Organizations (CIOs), Special Status Organizations, Agency Organizations - and University departments may post flyers advertising UVA-affiliated events and opportunities that are open to UVA students and comply with University policies.
2. Check-In Requirement
   Organizations must check in with a staff member before posting flyers.
3. Posting Locations
   Flyers may be posted in the designated areas listed below:
   Multicultural Student Center (2nd Floor Newcomb) – two pillars in Area 1 taped with masking tape from the MSC front desk.
4. Posting Duration
   Flyers will remain posted for up to five (5) days or until the event occurs, whichever comes first
5. Posting Guidelines

• Flyers must include the event date and sponsoring organization
• Only one flyer per event per center may be posted
• Flyers must be posted only in designated locations.

MSS may remove flyers that are posted outside of designated areas, exceed the posting limit time, advertise non-UVA-affiliated events, or violate University policies.
