The Division of Student Affairs oversees the environment and programs that ensure the unparalleled UVA student experience, student self-governance, and culture of honor thrive at UVA. The division's broad-reaching responsibilities encompass all student organizations (contracted independent organizations, or CIOs), the student-run Honor and Judiciary systems, the Office of the Dean of Students, First-Year and Transfer Student Orientation, Residence Life, the Office of African-American Affairs, the University Career Center, WTJU Radio, Greek Life, Club Sports, Student Health, the Gordie Center, and Newcomb Hall.
