Middle Eastern/North African Mentoring Program

MENAMP, or the Middle Eastern/North African Mentoring Program, aims to support the transition of new students to UVA through fostering relationships with upperclassman mentors who serve as mentors and guides to first-year and transfer student mentees. MENAMP is open to all students seeking community, mentorship, and support.

Mentees will receive invaluable advice and resources from someone who has experienced life at UVA. In addition to the mentor and mentee groups, the program hosts social and academic programs to cultivate the MENA community, allow students to further their academic and social networks, and bond with a diverse group from the broader MENA community.
