Application Process

The application process has four steps:

  1. Attending an optional information session,
  2. Submitting an online application,
  3. A group interview, and
  4. An individual interview.

For those selected: The cohort of Meriwether Lewis Fellows selected in Fall 2023 will be required to take LPPL 4225 in the Spring 2024 semester. The purpose of the course is to best prepare MLI Fellows for leadership at the University and beyond.

The 2024 summer program will begin on Tuesday, May 28, and conclude on Monday, June 24.

Eligibility

Current second-year students with no disciplinary issues or cases are eligible to apply. There is no GPA requirement.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 26, 6 to 7 p.m., Rotunda Multipurpose Room 
  • Wednesday, Sept. 27, 6 to 7 p.m., 1515 Back Room  
  • Wednesday, Oct. 4, 6 to 7 p.m., Rotunda Multipurpose Room 
  • Thursday, Oct. 5, 6 to 7 p.m., Newcomb Commonwealth Room
    • We highly recommend that you bring friends with you to the info sessions!
Oct. 9
 Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 9

 Interview invitations are sent on Wednesday, October 11
Oct. 16-18

Group Interviews will take place in person.
