Who is Eligible for Funding During the Pilot?
Pell-eligible, undergraduate students.
Funding Limits
Grants are limited to up to $500 per student, per academic year.
Funding Availability
- The fund does not cover for-credit activities or other items covered through tuition and fees, or regular cost-of-attendance items covered by financial aid such as books and school supplies, rent, utilities, food, or personal items.
- Funding will be available for the fall/spring semesters only.
- Examples of items to be funded:
- Associated costs for membership in registered student organizations.
- Note: This fund is not intended to cover dues for Greek-letter organizations or costs associated with participation in club sports activities.
- Participation in enrichment activities related to academic or co-curricular experiences such as travel to a lecture, museum, competition, or other similar activity.
- Participation in community service activities, including Madison House-sponsored events, Alternative Spring Break, or other service-related organization activities. Funds may be used to cover travel to service locations.
- Supplies for participation in co-curricular programming or experiences, including technology, sports equipment, or professional clothing that may be needed to participate in or attend functions related to the experience.
- Costs associated with attending or participating in a professional or pre-professional conference or research-related experience.
- Associated costs for membership in registered student organizations.

- Students must submit an application at the link below and provide supporting documentation, as requested.
- The application will be open for both the fall and spring semester, until the last day of classes, or until funding for the semester is depleted.
- Funding will be available for the fall/spring semesters only.
