The Multicultural Greek Council unites Greek-letter organizations that are members of National APIDA Panhellenic Association (NAPA), National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO), National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC), and a local gender-inclusive organization. The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) was founded in spring 1999.

The Multicultural Greek Council promotes community service events, leadership, and scholarship. Many of the organizations sponsor or co-sponsor educational programs regarding hazing, discrimination, and personal safety. All member organizations stress their commitment to the University and Charlottesville communities. Informational sessions about the fraternities and sororities are held throughout the year.

Currently, the MGC consists of Latin, Asian, multicultural and local fraternities and sororities. The chapters of the Multicultural Greek Council are:
