As Senior Associate Dean of Students and Director of Multicultural Student Services, Vicki advises the Division of Student Affairs on diversity and inclusion matters related to the student experience, leads initiatives that promote belonging and success for historically marginalized students, and coordinates intercultural engagement opportunities for the broader student body.   Multicultural Student Services includes several identity centers located in Newcomb Hall -- the Multicultural Student Center, LGBTQ Center, Latinx Student Center, Interfaith Student Center, and Asian American Student Center.  Vicki's portfolio as Senior Associate Dean also includes Fraternity and Sorority Life, Student Engagement, Event Management, and Student Center Facilities Operations.

A native of Union, South Carolina, Vicki is a graduate of the University of South Carolina – Columbia, where she earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration.  Her time at UVA has included positions in Housing and Residence Life, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and the Dean-on-Call crisis response team.  Prior to joining UVA, she worked in residential life at Dartmouth College.  Vicki has previously served on the National Advisory Council for the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in American Higher Education (NCORE), and as Vice-President of the Black Faculty and Staff Employee Resource Group at UVA. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and proud mom of two amazing children.
