Dear Students:

Tuesday, November 8, is the last day to vote in the midterm elections. This year, classes will not meet on Election Day in all of the undergraduate schools and nearly all of the graduate and professional schools. Being a voter is just one of the ways you can make a difference in our community and on the issues you care about most.

If you have not already voted early, the information below will guide you on how you can still cast a ballot in the 2022 midterm elections.

Need a ride? Student Council is providing free rides to the polls on Election Day to polling places through Charlottesville Yellow Cab. Simply call 434-295-4131 or visit their website to book a ride. When your taxi arrives, tell your driver to bill the UVA Student Council business account.

Remember to take valid identification with you (your student identification is accepted).

If you have any questions, feel free to email Student Council at [email protected] or visit centerforpolitics.org/vote.

Thank you for being active and informed participants in our democracy at a time when it is most needed.

Sincerely,

Robyn S. Hadley
