Summer Orientation

UVA Grounds
Summer Orientation offers an opportunity for students and their guests to visit Grounds and learn about the University. Two-day Orientation sessions (one day for transfer students) take place over the summer. Student and parent programs run concurrently, helping all get acquainted with the rich diversity of UVA life and available resources.
Wahoo Welcome

During the first weeks of school, Wahoo Welcome is a University-wide program that helps to prepare you for life at UVA, acclimates you to Grounds, helps you to connect with your peers, and find your place at the University.
Family Weekend

UVA Grounds
UVA Family Weekend 2022 will occur from October 28-30. Events will take place throughout the weekend, including talks, concerts, exhibitions, and a home football game against Miami on Saturday, October 29.

Robyn S. Hadley joined the University of Virginia as Vice President and Chief Student Affairs Officer on June 1, 2021. She leads approximately 300 student affairs professionals supporting students across the University, from enrollment through graduation.
