Join us for a conversation about the impact of the Miller Center’s transcription and analysis of the once-secret White House tapes. In 1998, the Miller Center established the Presidential Recordings Program to make the tapes accessible to the public. Since that time, they have been used by countless historians, journalists, and scholars to shed light on the inner workings of presidential decision-making. Scholars in the Presidential Recordings Program will explore select recordings from Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard M. Nixon.
