Dear Students:
Welcome back from what we hope was a relaxing and rejuvenating break. The new year offers a great opportunity to consider new beginnings and look ahead to fresh possibilities. Whether you are beginning your final semester or just started at UVA, we are excited about your arrival on Grounds for the spring semester.
Dean Rucker and I have been reflecting on the many ways you've shaped our understanding of this wonderful place. We urge all of you to reacquaint yourselves with the many amazing opportunities available here to connect and grow. Maybe you're interested in a mentoring or coaching experience to kick start your career – or perhaps you're looking to engage with new friends, to update your exercise routine, or learn a new skill. Some of you may be reevaluating your commitments to focus your time and energy on things that matter the most to you and support your well-being. Whatever your interest, you can find hundreds of organizations, groups, resources, and people to inspire and support you! The new year is a fresh chance to get engaged and expand your horizons.
Happy New Year from all of us in Student Affairs. We hope 2025 brings you happiness, growth, and many new and wonderful opportunities to make the most of your UVA student experience!
Sincerely,
